Vintage Cash Cow has offered the free and unique service for customers to convert boxes of unwanted antiques into cash since 2016.

Decluttering, Downsizing, or making a bit of extra cash, Vintage Cash Cow provides an easy step by step way to sell unwanted items in one go.

Based in Leeds, Yorkshire, they offer free postage service, expert appraisal and a trustworthy sale to worldwide traders, taking away any hassle throughout the process.

THE BRIEF

We were tasked with creating 2 30-Second TV commercials to really spread the message of what Vintage Cash Cow do, how to use them, to really get the boxes flowing in. The client wanted the commercials to be as authentic as possible, explaining quickly and efficiently what they do, and avoiding confusion about how to use the service.

THE EXECUTION

We decided that people who had used the service before to send their own unwanted items, would give much more authentic and passionate energy across to the audience. We found Wendy who had sent her box earlier in 2024, and we were able to arrange a shoot at her house, which fitted very nicely with the tone of the advert and the brand. We also found Carole and John who were regular customers, with a very amicable husband and wife dynamic which we could utilise.
